Dog pawrent takes home 7/11 cat who literally jumped into her car pleading for a furever home, only to find out it’s actually a missing feline from more than a year ago: ‘She's been reunited with her family.’

It is rather ironic that with so many people leaving their families claiming to be going to the store, that this feline family reunion story would begin in much the same way. But in this case there is at least a bittersweet ending to help make it all go down a little smoother. Ah, who are we kidding, the whole thing is wholesome as heck and one heck of a tail.

It was our rescuer's plea for feline related help that brought this story to our attention. In their post they told of their trip to the local 7/11 and the feline who followed them all the way to their car and leapt right in, as though to say 'Please take me home with you, I cannot live like this anymore.'. And with a plea like that what can you do other than simply say yes and take the kitty home. It is a rather delightful feeling being chosen by a cat child like that.

But with much regret, that which began as happiness and heartwarming sensations soon turned into a bittersweet goodbye when it came to light that this poor cat child had been missing for more than a year and had a fur family who had not given up hope of finding him once more. So while this rescuer did not get to keep the kitten she had so luckily found, she was instrumental in making sure that one less cat is needlessly left out on the streets.

  • Well, it seems that this person has done more than enough for the time being, and with their plan of action in place there is little that can stand in their way. While this tale is rather saddening in that a cat could get so desperate for help that it would willingly leap into a strange hooman’s car. But also so heartwarming when you think that there must have been more than a few good feline loving souls out there who were keeping the cat well fed. It is so uplifting to know that there are still good and caring people out there in this mad world.

  • It certainly sounds as though this catto has lucked out big time. It just goes to show how the CDS is not always working to deliver cats to their new family, sometimes they get involved to help a hopeless cat in need get back to their fur family. Something which we are sure this hooman began to appreciate after spending a few days with what would turn out to be one of the chattiest cattos on the planet. Not that is to say that this person did not love and appreciate this catto, but you know how it is, when it is not fully your cat child…
